Achieve by unity, says Yeovil Town boss
The Glovers travel to Stockport County on Saturday in 16th place in Coca-Cola League One, but only three points off the relegation zone.
Skiverton wants everyone from the tea lady to the chairman to continue displaying the collective spirit that has helped his team register back-to-back wins.
Along with assistant Nathan Jones, the former club captain has transformed a team beaten 4-0 and 5-0 by Brighton and Leeds United respectively last month.
He said: "Everyone says 'achieve by unity' and it has been on the club carpets for as long as I have been here. It is what we have got to do.
"We are a small club competing against bigger teams and if we have not got that, which showed when we did not have it at Brighton and Leeds, you get punished.
"If we stick together, play with passion and commitment and show our friendship we will not go far wrong.
"Everybody to do with the club is together and that is what we need to drive forward."
Skiverton added that the poor state of the Edgeley Park pitch, which Stockport share with rugby union outfit Sale Sharks, is a cause for concern.
However, he said Yeovil are keen to make amends for the 5-0 FA Cup First Round replay defeat at Stockport in November.
"You have still got to go out there and put a performance in," he said. "All that will mean is not messing about with the ball at the back, try and cut down on the number of back passes and get the ball in their half and play your football.
"We are looking forward to it, the confidence is high and we want to maintain the standards that we have set ourselves."
Tottenham Hotspur full-back Danny Hutchins will be on loan with the Glovers until the end of the season after his deal was extended.
Midfielder David Noble (ankle) could be a doubt for Saturday and Skiverton (foot) will not play, but Aaron Brown trained yesterday.
Meanwhile, Yeovil have announced reduced ticket prices for next season.
Chief Executive, Martyn Starnes said: "In setting our pricing policy for next season, we have consulted with supporter representatives and looked at various options that will provide the best possible deal for the fans and the club.
"We believe that our prices for 2009-10 provide improved value and wider choice.
"Adults purchasing a season ticket on the Blackthorn Terrace before the May 31, 2009 will see seven games free or pay the equivalent of £10.43 per match over the 23-game season.
"We are looking to encourage the attendance of family groups and two adults and two children will be able to buy a family season ticket in the Agusta Westland Stand for as little as £590, compared with £828 this season.
"This works out at an average of £6.41 per person per game.
"We have also introduced a new pricing category for young people in the 16-21 years old age group so that following the Glovers at Huish Park is more affordable for students and young adults that are on low incomes.
"They will be able to purchase a season ticket for as little as £128 on the Blackthorn Terrace which is the equivalent to £5.56 per game."
